Holy bloody shit. It’s been seven long, arduous years since experimental rockers Yeasayer have touched down in Australia, but now they’re on the cusp of announcing a 2020 down under tour.
Taking to social media, the band announced that they’ll be returning in February after over seven years of absence.
While details of the tour will come next week, we know that the band will be here from February 18 – February 22 2020, and they’ll be playing dates in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The band were last here in 2013 for Laneway Festival, and we caught up with them in 2016 to discuss their 2016 album Amen & Goodbye. Their latest album, Erotic Reruns, was released back in June of this year.
Full details of the tour will come next Tuesday, but for now check out the band’s post below.
