Yothu Yindi Livesteam Performance Announced To Cap Off Aboriginal Concert Series ‘East Arnhem Live’

Australia’s most renowned Aboriginal band Yothu Yindi have been announced as the closing act of ‘East Arnhem Live’, a virtual music festival celebrating the beauty of East Arnhem Land and Yolnju culture, allowing music lovers worldwide to experience Aboriginal song and dance in the Northern Territory, from the comfort of their homes.

The eight-time ARIA Award-winning act will be hitting the streams on Saturday, 20th June at 6.30 pm AEST to perform a string of their timeless hits, including ‘Treaty’, ‘Djapana (Sunset Dreaming)’, ‘Tribal Voice’, ‘Timeless Land’, ‘World Turning’ and more.

East Arnhem Land has been hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, with its tourism industry severely impacted.
