You Am I, Regurgitator, Lisa Mitchell, Paul Dempsey and a host of others will play A Show For Casey this September. The show will be a charity event in support of former VFL footballer Casey Tutungi.
A Show For Casey will be headlined with a best-of set from Aussie rock legends You Am I, who will be joined on stage by special guests to form an ‘Allstars’ super group, and supported by Something For Kate‘s Paul Dempsey, Regurgitator, Lisa Mitchell, Magic Dirt’s Adalita, The Bamboos, Dan Sultan and Yacht Club DJs.
The event has been organised by Falls Festival promoter Simon Daly, with proceeds from the gig all going to support Tutungi’s treatment. Tutungi, a talented footballer who played for Geelong in the VFL, was left quadriplegic after a freak football accident in June.
A Show For Casey will be held in Geelong at 1:00pm on Sunday, 29th September, with gates opening at 12:45pm. For all info, including ticketing, you can head on over to the Official A Show For Casey website. Tickets go on sale Friday, 23rd August.
