The good folks at Coles are going to be serving up some fresh Aussie tunes in their aisles across the entirety of November, thanks to Ausmusic Month.
They’re beefing up the amount of local content that will feature in their playlist throughout the month, with a particular focus on amplifying the works of up and coming artists.
On 30th November, the supermarket giant will cap off a stellar month of celebrating home-grown talent with a playlist that features all-Australian artists. This playlist will include works from electronic producer Friendless1, Perth indie-pop darlings Coterie and Sydney country pop singer Rachael Fahim.
They’re also going to be running a massive campaign to promote the month that will feature a range of artists, including Missy Higgins, Dingo Spender, Yirrŋa Yunupiŋu and Emily Soon.
“At Coles, it’s really important to us to win together and support Australian artists wherever possible, which is why we’re also delighted to feature the beautiful voice of Australian artist Emily Soon in our latest Christmas campaign, continuing our tradition of championing home-grown musical talent in our marketing campaigns,” said Coles CMO Lisa Ronson.
“We have more Australian talent than ever coming through the airwaves and inspiring customers both in and out of the supermarket, and as one of Australia’s favourite commercial digital stations, we’re proud to use our Coles Radio platform to amplify Aussie voices.”
