With only a couple of days to go until Yours Truly embark on their pretty much sold-out east coast tour, the band are celebrating with the release of a video clip to accompany their single ‘Siamese Souls’.
The track, taken from the band’s stellar 2020 debut album Self Care, sees vocalist Mikaila Delgado looking to the stars, and turning to astrology to try to make sense of why her relationship was ending.
“It’s about sugar coating the fate of a relationship by looking towards astrology… It can be so easy to become ignorant to the reality of the situation because you convince yourself the universe is bigger than you.”
Self Care arrived back in September, featuring a run of gripping singles including ‘Undersize‘ and ‘Funeral Home‘.
A couple of months before the record’s release, the band took to triple j’s Like A Version to deliver an absolutely stellar cover of Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.
When I said the tour was almost sold-out, I really mean ALMOST – the only tickets that remain are to their Brisbane show this Friday night.
