Atlanta country/folk outfit Zac Brown Band are returning to Australia in 2015 for their first headline tour of the country, with stops in Sydney and Melbourne. Zac Brown Band’s maiden headline shows will precede the group’s appearance at both Bluesfest 2015 and Big Sky Blues & Roots Festival.
Zac Brown Band recently wrapped up their Great American Road Trip Tour, which saw them perform to over 1.1 million fans across the US. The group have also released their first ever career-spanning anthology this year, titled Greatest Hits So Far….
The anthology is a collection of Zac Brown Band’s 11 number one singles between 2008 and 2013. The group’s most recent studio album, Uncaged, dropped in 2012.
Frontman Zac Brown has recently been collaborating heavily with Foo Fighters, contributing to the song Congregation on their latest album Sonic Highways, appearing on their HBO television series of the same name, and performing Black Sabbath’s War Pigs with the band live on American television.
Zac Brown Band will play headline shows in Melbourne on Tuesday, 31st March 2015, and in Sydney on Wednesday, 1st April. Full tour and ticket details are available below.
