Iron Maiden have shared the second single from their forthcoming, 17th studio album Senjutsu. ‘Stratego’ is full of soaring Bruce Dickinson vocals and rolling metal riffs. It’s a real treat.
It’s a big jump from previous single, ‘The Writing On The Wall’. The single was the band’s first in six years and had a big ol’ folk rock twang.
The new single, ‘Stratego’ is back to a classic Iron Maiden heavy metal sound.
An album announcement followed the single. Senjutsu will be a 10-track and 82 minute release and it’s due out Friday, 3rd September.

Iron Maiden frontman, Bruce Dickinson recently had to postpone some of the last dates of his solo world tour.
He initially postponed them after a fellow household member tested positive to COVID-19. Dickinson tested positive days later.
