Newly reunited Aussie rockers The Butterfly Effect have teased plans for new music, after embarking on a huge national reunion tour earlier this year.
In a statement to fans, Ben, Clint, Glenn and Kurt have revealed they are currently in the process of seeing whether or not they’ve got some new tunes in them.
“After the tour we thought we would let the dust settle to see where we were as a band,” they said.
“We were stoked with the support you guys showed us on the tour so… we’ve decided to rent out the old rehearsal space and see if we can churn some new tunes out of this old girl.
“We can’t promise anything but we will see where it leads us. Hopefully we can come out the other side with some new tunes and some more shows.”
The Butterfly Effect reunited with former frontman Clint Boge for their 2018 tour, after he left the band in 2012.
The group released one single (‘Eyes Down’) with new frontman Paul Gallagher in 2013, before eventually announcing their split in 2016.
While the band’s last album Final Conversation Of Kings was released in 2008, it now sounds like we could be hearing new music soon.
