Silverchair have split up today, announcing on the band’s official website that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
The letter signed by members Daniel Johns, Chris Joannou and Ben Gillies cited the reasons for the breakup being that Silverchair was no longer “fun” and “fulfilling creatively”.
